Flake questions
Are these real photos of the flake blends?
No — and that's deliberate. Each swatch is rendered from the blend's actual color formula, the same three flake colors that go in the hopper. Photos of flake floors lie constantly (lighting, topcoat gloss, camera white balance); the formula doesn't. You'll see a physical sample board at the measure before anything is final.
Do different flake colors cost different amounts?
Standard blends all price the same — the flake is a small slice of the job cost either way. Custom blends or oversized 1" flake can add a little, and we'll quote that before you commit to anything.
Which blend hides red clay best?
Tan and warm-earth blends with some mid-brown in the trio. Huntsville's red clay reads orange-brown on a floor; blends that already carry that tone family make track-in basically invisible between cleanings. The gray blends hide everything else better — pick by what your household drags in.
Can I mix two blends?
Yes. Custom broadcasts are a real option — we've blended hoppers plenty of times. It adds a sample step so you can see the mix ratio on a board first. Worth it when you're matching cabinets or an existing floor.
Found your blend?
Tell us which one when you call. The sample board comes to the measure.
