Tidal Wave

Blue is a commitment, and Tidal Wave is the blend for people ready to make it. Mid ocean blue, deep navy, and a foam-white flake — unmistakably blue from the curb, not a gray that hints at it. We install it most in basements, home gyms, and the garages of people with a boat parked inside, where the color feels earned. Two things worth knowing before you commit. It dominates the room's palette, so your wall color needs to cooperate rather than compete — whites and grays do, tans mostly don't. And under warm 2700K bulbs the blue dulls toward slate; cooler 4000K-and-up LEDs keep it vivid. Most new shop lighting is already in that range, so in practice it usually lands right.

Pairs well with: Wants white or light-gray walls, white cabinets, and chrome or stainless accents; avoid beside beige and oak.

Ships in: Full broadcast under the UV-stable topcoat in the Rocket City System — the blue will not fade at the door line.

Will Tidal Wave fade in sunlight?
No. The vinyl flake is color-stable and the aliphatic polyaspartic over it is 100% UV-stable, so the strip by the garage door stays the same blue as the back wall.
Is Tidal Wave too bold for resale?
In a basement or gym, buyers read it as finished space. In a garage it's more personal — if you're selling within a couple of years, a gray keeps more buyers neutral.
